Reiterates: ‘A baby doesn't fix a toxic relationship’
AFTER publicly denying he was the father and even questioning if she was really pregnant, Jeremy McConnell has taken to social media to defend himself as former flame Stephanie Davis shares the first picture of her bump.
The former Hollyoaks actress, 22, can be seen smiling proudly with a protective hand resting on her growing tum as she poses for the latest cover of OK! Magazine.
Hitting back on Twitter, he shared a link to an interview he had previously given in which he insisted he couldn’t be the dad.
He wrote alongside it: "Article I done months ago, time will tell , I don't need to reiterate again. We were broke up for weeks."
In a follow up tweet he also made it extremely clear that there was still no chance of a reconciliation even if he had fathered the sprog.
He tweeted: “Everything will be dealt with accordingly and mature, but a baby doesn’t fix a toxic relationship, end of discussion.”
The pair originally met while competing on Celebrity Big Brother back in January.
Following multiple breakups, they eventually decided to call time for good on their romance in May.
Shortly after, Steph revealed that she was expecting.
