Don’t be sad Love Island is over… the fun is set to return with new series in 2017!
Surprise ITV2 hit has been given the go-ahead for another series of shenanigans

THE Love Island villa is set to return to our screens in 2017 after ITV bosses have given the go-ahead for another series of the smash show.
Viewers have been gripped as the contestants have romped, cheated and stole each others hearts on their quest for love in the sun.
Bosses have been left more than happy as the viewership increased - doubling last year's series average to bring in an impressive 1.3million viewers an episode.
Thanks to its entertaining cast the show has become the highest rated entertainment series on a digital channel in 2016 so far.
Creative Director ITV Studios Richard Cowles said: "We couldn't be more proud of the show which has found its perfect match in ITV2.
"We had well over a million loyal viewers tuning in to each episode and a million more watching via the ITV Hub - all desperate to get the latest news from the Love Island villa.
LATEST FROM Love Island
"We can't wait to do it all again next year and have already started the search for a brand new cast of singles looking for love."
GME Director of Programming, Tony Moulsdale, said: "Love Island has gone from strength to strength with a fantastic second series drawing an ever larger and more engaged audience.
"We're delighted to be working with ITV Studios to deliver more next year."
As well as it's impressive viewing figures, Love Island has ensured itself as a competitive cross-platform show with content being uploaded on the mobile app as well as its YouTube channel.
It has also made a star out of sarcy commentator Iain Sterling - who has become famed for his witty one-liners for events unfolding on-screen.
As he made an rare real-life appearance on tonight's final, which also saw the return of Caroline Flack, fans went into meltdown, calling him "fit" on Twitter.
Maybe Iain should apply for next year's show...?
