Mr Nice Guy turns nasty and evicts popular housemate and cuts the final prize fund
HOUSEMATES and viewers alike were left stunned on tonight's Big Brother after nice guy Jason Burrill turned nasty and booted Lateysha Grace.
On top of this, he received a slice of the £100,000 prize fund - after being tempted by Big Brother to trade in another housemate £20,000.
To top off his nasty streak, he then voted house loud mouth Lateysha for the chop, upsetting fans as she had become loved for her witty one-liners.
He made the decision to evict her because he thought she would win.
Jason, who has become a father figure in the house and has previously described himself as a "gentle giant", made the fateful decision much to the anger of the others in the house.
Now he has been ostracized by the other housemates, who criticised him for his decision to get Lateysha out.
While Jason insisted that the choice was not for the money, most housemates weren't angry at his decision to press it, with Jackson, Laura and Hughie among those who also went for the buzzer.
Lateysha said: "He's never going to win it after what he's just done. People are going to think he's a d***head."
Earlier on in the Diary Room, Lateysha had said: "I don't want to go like this. It would be horrible to just be gone like that.
"Annihilation Week can just do one."
Jason made the decision in the latest devious game as the show starts to cull off the 11 contestant strong household as they approach the finish line.
Lateysha later confronted Jason after hearing that he didn't agree with leaving her baby daughter Wynter for the show.
She said: "I'm broke. I'm completely skint.
"You don't understand, you drive an Aston Martin and own various properties.
"I came on this show and wanted to get to the end for a better life for my daughter."
On tonight's show, all housemates stood in front of podiums containing buzzers, and were told if any of them pressed theirs, they would get a £20,000 cut of the prize money.
On top of this, they then had to decided who would be the next person up for immediate eviction.
Annihilation Week has already claimed multi-millionaire Chelsea Singh - as housemates were forced to sit in a room and vote unanimously for one of their own to get the axe.
Housemates were not pleased with his underhanded move, and soon erupted into chaos as her friends rallied round to console her.
Lateysha has won over audiences with her upbeat and straight forward nature and has never been put up for nomination.
The former star of reality show The Valleys became instantly recognisable when she announced on her introduction video that she had a sheep tattooed to her nethers.
The mother-of-one was left devastated two weeks ago when she was given the opportunity to see a video of her 10-month-old daughter back home and discovered that during her time away she had learned to walk.
She clung on to Jackson Blyton as she screamed: "She's walking! She's walking!"
Big Brother continues weekdays on Channel 5.
