SINGER Adele has proudly displayed her north London roots by taking time out of her US tour to pose underneath a Tottenham football club scarf.
Quoting Canadian rapper Drake's song, the Hello hitmaker captioned the Instagram picture with the words: "Started from the bottom now we're here xx," displaying her eclectic taste in music.
Pointing to the scarf which has the words "The Pride of London" written across it, the glam mum-of-one is dressed in a sequinned gown backstage at Chicago's United Center.
A far cry from her humble Tottenham roots, Adele, 28, is currently touring North America.
She recently performed on the hallowed Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, wowing the crowd with renditions of her bestselling tracks.

During the set, the forthright star got a laugh when she burped on stage and revealed: "I had a dirty burger before I came on, that's why."
The pretty brunette also dropped a massive hint to her boyfriend of four year Simon Konecki, telling fans she was still waiting for him to pop the question.
"I might as well be married, but I’m not," said Adele.
“I would tell you if I did. I wouldn’t be able to contain myself.
“He simply hasn’t proposed yet, so let’s move on from that . . .”
