What do the cast of Gogglebox REALLY do for work in real life when they’re not watching telly?
We reveal what our favourite telly addicts do as their day jobs
GOGGLEBOX has become a instant classic and turned TV addicts into national stars but what do they work as in real life when they're not watching telly?
The stars of the show reportedly earn £15 for every night they film, so what does everyone from Scarlett Moffatt to Chris and Stephen do as their real jobs?
The Moffatts
Scarlett Moffatt is undoubtedly the biggest break-out star of the show as she presents a radio show and has signed a massive deal for an upcoming fitness DVD.
This isn't her first foray into reality TV however, as she previously appeared on MTV's Beauty School Cop Outs.
The 25-year-old previously worked as a disability officer for students but is currently filling in for Jojo Hatfield on Capital North East's Daily Breakfast Show.
Her dad Marks works as a welder and specialises in making JCBs while her mother Betty works in clothes shop Burton.
We only rarely see younger daughter Grace as she has no interest in being on telly which Scarlett does't seem to mind as she previously told Now magazine that her little sister would "100% outshine me if she did".
The Michaels
Carolyne, 52, and Andy, 55, are both retired following his successful career as a hotelier.
The family quit the show two years ago when Andy ran for UKIP in the general election.
Luckily for Gogglebox fans, he wasn't successful and the family returned to the show in 2015.
Louis is studying at the University of Chester where his big sister Alex received a Masters in Computer Science.
Like the Moffatts there are a few members of the Michaels family that aren't fans of being on screen.
Catheryne, known as Katie, was travelling in Australia when they first signed up for the show and now she's returned to the UK she sometimes surprises viewers by making an appearance.
Elsewhere, their brother Pascal is studying Neuroscience at Aberdeen.
Leon and June
The Liverpool natives were both teachers before they retired with Leon, 79, teaching History and June, 76, specialising in English.
They met at teaching college and have been happily married for 54 years.
Now they love relaxing in front of the telly, playing Bridge and swimming laps at the local pool.
The couple have two daughters, Helen and Julie, plus three grandchildren.
Chris and Stephen
Chris Steed, 37, and Stephen Webb, 42, are both hairdressers but they're not a couple anymore.
When the show first kicked off they were together but decided they were better as friends.
Chris is now engaged to Tony Butland and Stephen travels from West Sussex to Chris' bungalow to film their Gogglebox sessions.
Sandy and Sandra
Best friends Sandy, 48, and Sandra, 52, are comedy gold on Gogglebox and keep viewers entertained with their ever-changing hairstyles, unusual snacks and their hilarious quips.
Sandy is a mother of two and has her hands full with five grandchildren.
The South Londoner previously own some sine bars and used to sing at the Tower in Blackpool with Larry Grayson.
Sandra has four children and is also kept busy with three grandchildren.
Jenny and Lee
This hilarious pair film Gogglebox inside her caravan in Hull but it's not clear what they get up to when they're not sobbing or laughing while watching the telly.
While many think Jenny and Lee are mother and son or husband and wife, the duo are just firm friends.
They met when Jenny was the landlady of the Crown Inn pub in Paull and Lee was a regular customer.
They landed their spot on the show when Jenny met two of the show's researchers at Beverley Races Ladies' Day and they reportedly signed her up on the spot.
Giles and Mary
With their quirky furniture, including wallpaper that matches an armchair, it's not surprising that Giles and Mary have creative jobs.
Giles is an artist and Mary is best known for being the Spectator's resident agony aunt as well as a self-styled queen of etiquette.
She started out at Tatler magazine and wrote a book called How the Queen Can Make You Happy.
It's believed the pair are close pals of Boris Johnson and his sister Rachel.
Linda, Pete and George
Outside of the show, George and his stepdad Pete are both electricians while Linda works as a carer.
The trio were axed from the show when George broke the rules by appearing on Celebrity Big Brother.
They returned for series seven much to the delight of viewers.
George has since become a dad for the first time with his girlfriend Gemma as they welcomed baby Amelie Iris last month.
Pete and Linda recently opened up about being foster parents, revealing they have fostered 68 children and don't plan on stopping any time soon.
Steph and Dom
Known as the "the posh couple" on the show, the pair run an upmarket B&B in Sandwich, Kent.
Since finding fame on the show, they have gone on to appear on The Jump, Four In A Bed and Steph and Dom Meet Nigel Farage.
They have two children but they don't appear on the show as they're away at school.
The duo also released a book called Steph and Dom's Guide To Life.
