Abbey Clancy teeters on high heels as she clambers over a verge en route to Serge Pizzorno’s wedding

ABBEY Clancy narrowly avoided falling flat on her face as she teetered over a grass verge on high-heels en route to Serge Pizzorno's wedding today.

The stunning model was among the guests at the lavish ceremony in Leicester, but nearly took a tumble on her way in.

Abbey, 30, joined her footballer husband Peter Crouch to watch the Kasabian star tie the knot with his partner Amy White.

They were spotted walking to the wedding, which was held at the couple's home, and the leggy blonde looked unsteady on her feet as she crossed a grassy verge.

Abbey's high-heeled shoes appear to leave her off balance and she appeared to come close to falling over as she attempted the tricky manoeuvre.

The pictures appear to show Peter looking back at his wife to make sure she was ok.

Ever the gentleman, he reached out and took her hand in a bid to steady her.

Abbey then managed to make it across the grass unscathed and she seemed to rejoice once she was back on solid ground.

He was also spotted walking up to the venue where the guitarist walked down the aisle with his longtime partner.
