Katy Perry appears to respond to Kim Kardashian’s bombshell Snapchat revelation that Taylor Swift DID know about Famous
Katy posted a subtle tweet amid the breaking drama on Twitter
KATY Perry appears to have waded into Taylor Swift’s drama with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian with a subtle tweet.
After the Shake It Off singer was exposed as a "liar" by the married pair with a leaked tape, Katy wrote: “#RISE above it all,” as Twitter proceeded to explode.
Although the tweet is referencing her new single Rise, many fans have speculated that the specific timing and wording of her post is aimed at Taylor and Kimye.
“Taylor Swift is finished,” one fan replied, with another adding: “Drag her.”
Many of Katy’s 90 million followers also found amusement in her tweet which included the link to buy her new single from iTunes, responding: “Queen of promo.”
Taylor hit the headlines today after Kim Kardashian leaked a video of the singer giving her blessing to Kanye’s song Famous.
Despite Taylor denying ever having any conversation about the song which brands her “a bitch,” she can be heard referring to it as “a compliment” in the video Kim posted to her Snapchat.
Away from this, Taylor and Katy have their own history of Bad Blood.
The feud stretches back to 2012 when Katy nicked Taylor’s back-up dancers ready for her 2014 Prism tour.
Taylor then hit back by basing single Bad Blood on their rivalry.
Katy was then name-checked during her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris’s Twitter rant last week, sparked by the news coming out that Taylor wrote his latest hit.
He tweeted: “I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry.”
Choosing not to weigh in, Katy simply posted a GIF of HILLARY CLINTON with a knowing smile and retweeted an old tweet from May last year which read: “Time, the ultimate truth teller.”
