Calvin Harris ‘is dating Tinashe’ as ex Taylor Swift comes under fire in mega feud with Kim Kardashian
The two met back in 2014 while writing for Rihanna
CALVIN Harris looks like he’s well and truly over Taylor Swift after insiders reveal he’s dating American singer Tinashe.
Apparently the couple have been dating for “weeks” but are keeping things “pretty casual”.
A source said: “It’s only been weeks, so it’s still pretty casual right now.
“They’ve been on a few dates.”
According to those close to them, Calvin, 32, and 23-year-old Tinashe met while writing for Rihanna back in 2014.
And the two haven’t been too shy about being spotted together in public, turning up at swanky eatery Nobu in Malibu on Saturday.
An onlooker told Page Six: “It was clearly a date. They were super close.”
While Calvin’s personal life is looking up, his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s professional and personal relationships are crumbling.
The DJ sent Twitter into meltdown on Wednesday when he launched a tirade against his ex after her rep confirmed she had a hand in writing his new single under Swedish pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.
Despite starting off with a friendly tone, he then went on to blast her and bring up her feud with Katy Perry.
He said: “Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.
“I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.
"I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry I won’t allow it.
“Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one.”
And to make matters worse, today Kim Kardashian sensationally released an audio with Taylor approving the lyrics and the use of the word “bitch” in Kanye West’s song Famous – something that she’s always vehemently denied.
In the recording Taylor in which we see Kanye call her to run through the lyrics with her, we hear Taylor offer her full support and even label the song a “compliment".
After tweeting that the audio could be found on her snapchat, Kim then went on to tell fans that it was “national snake day”, something that many believed is aimed Taylor.
However, while the hashtag #KimExposedTaylorParty trended on Twitter for hours, the singer posted a length tweet still denying that she approved the lyrics.
She wrote: “Where is this video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened.
“You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world. Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but he never did.
"While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009.”
