As the three-part series starring Emily Watson concluded, fans finally found out what led to the horrific events that viewers saw in episode one.
However, the finale was interrupted as fans claimed that ITV froze during the hour long episode.
One annoyed viewer posted: "What the hell did you just skip a whole chunk of Too Close after the screen freeze?!?"
Another raged: "They missed out the important court scene, how ridiculous."

The series focuses on forensic psychiatrist Dr Emma Robertson and her dangerous relationship with her patient Connie Mortensen, a woman accused of a terrible crime she has no memory of ever committing.
Connie is a wife and mother suffering from dissociative amnesia — or at least seems to be.
