‘I want to bring back my reality show’: Peter Andre eager to return to screens with new family set-up

Star ended show in 2013 but dismissed rumours he was through with reality TV

Mysterious buoy ... Peter Andre lives there

PETER Andre has dismissed claims he is ready to quit reality TV, insisting he would like to bring his own show back for “one or two” more seasons.

The Mysterious Girl singer has dropped his biggest hint yet that his hit show, which ran for ten seasons until 2013, could return.

Writing in his column in new! Magazine, the 43-year-old said: “I want to get something straight- I’m not quitting reality TV.

“I was quoted as saying I had moved on from it, but what I meant was I’ve moved away from appearing on reality shows such as Strictly and I’m A Celeb.

“Doing my own reality show is still a very strong option.

“I’d like to bring back the show for a year or two then leave it again for another four years.”

Peter decided to stop having cameras in his home in 2013 and hasn’t filmed a reality show since.

Fans had watched as he dealt with life as a single man after splitting from ex Katie Price in 2009, whom he had two children with, until he met Emily MacDonagh. The pair celebrated their first anniversary as man and wife on July 11 this year.

The fly on the wall show would be very different now.

Peter and Emily are parents to Amelia, 2, and will soon welcome another baby.

There will also be appearances from Princess, 8, and Junior, 10, his children with ex-wife Katie Price, who might also make a cameo or two.

Since his last show went off the air, the warring exes have come to a truce and are almost friends.

He added: “The show has had so much love over the years and I do feel it could be good to do a season or two.”

In 2013 Peter had told This Morning: “It’s going to be the tenth series since I started and we go on a high.

“The ratings have been amazing. The last series had the highest ratings we’ve ever had and I thought, let’s leave it on a high and bow out gracefully.”

Peter’s quotes come just a day after his ex Katie spoke about her fear men only want to be with her for her money.

Appearing on Monday’s Loose Women in a discussion on whether women are judged for having children by more than one man, the former glamour girl said: “I never know if people are really with me for the lifestyle, but you don’t, do you?”

"I don’t expect anyone to be the dad figure or pay for my kids, I do that myself," said Katie, 38.

"They just need to put up with the mad house.

“"I always say this to myself, if I didn't have money, couldn't be the breadwinner, offer the lifestyle..."

She went on: "If I went on a dating site and said I'd been married three times, five kids by different dads, one of them has disabilities - who would really come to me?”
