A Place in the Sun’s Laura Hamilton horrified as she’s bombarded with X-rated pics of fans’ privates
A PLACE In The Sun star Laura Hamilton has revealed she's been sent X-rated pics of fans' private parts.
The 38-year-old telly presenter - a property expert on the since 2012 - was horrified when she unwanted pictures piled up in her direct messages.
Laura told The Sun Online: "I did get a message not that long ago from somebody that was a picture of them with a face mask over their private parts.
"And then the string of the facemask up their bottom, and I was like: 'I don't need to see this.' I just blocked it straight away.”
Despite being taken aback by the message, Laura did manage to see the funny side.
She added: "It did make me laugh, I was like: 'That's not the way we use face masks. But thanks very much.'"
The culprit - who decided to keep their face out of the shot - captioned the saucy picture “I can’t wait to get out of lockdown.”
Laura explained she has fans sliding into her Instagram DMs for a variety of reasons, including people asking for advice on buying properties, fitness questions or even fans wondering where she got her lipstick from.
And despite the shocking photos, Instagram has definitely helped Laura keep in a positive mindset throughout the past year.
The mum-of-two - who admitted she got "obsessed" with her weight loss after giving birth to her daughter Tahlia, five, in 2015 - was determined to stay fit and healthy when we were all told to stay at home last year.
But she had to change her routine considering her preferred place to work up a sweat is the gym.
The star decided to team up with fitness coach Harry Seller to film virtual workouts that she shared with her 126k followers on her page.
She explained: "I've always been an incredibly active person, you know, I live my life and now I run around, always coming up with business ideas, and always want to do something. I love the gym.
"I was so sad when David Lloyd, my gym, was closing and I was like, 'god, I need it', it's almost like an addiction in my life!
"You know, it's part of your routine. And it's like: OK, well you know, with my job I travel a lot and I can exercise anywhere in the world.
"I do it online, so I'm just kind of have to use this the same way - gyms are closing, but still going to do it at home online."
But by burning off all her energy, Laura wanted to make sure that she was fuelling her body with the right food as well.
However, she confessed that at times she found it quite difficult to find the motivation to prepare and cook a meal after a long day.
She confessed: "We’ve all experienced cooking fatigue during lockdown, which is why I absolutely love the nutrition app,
"It’s great for different recipe ideas, particularly as I follow a Ketogenic diet - and really helps me to track daily progress and keep me focused.
"The vegetable and water trackers help me to achieve a good balance in my diet, and stay hydrated!"
When Laura isn't busy working up a sweat, she's looking after her two kids - Rocco, seven, and Tahlia - who she shares with husband Alex Goward.
