GEMMA Collins is returning to TOWIE to support her devastated best friend Bobby Norris after his pup Beau was mauled to death by another dog.
The pair are known for their strong friendship and despite quitting the show last year, Gemma had to be there at such a tough time for Bobby.
She made a cameo on the show earlier this year and has returned once again to be with Bobby in his time of need.
A source told The Sun Online: "Bobby is devastated after what happened to Beau, it was so horrible and Gemma just had to be there for him.
"They're so close and Bobby is just so upset about losing Beau and Gemma decided to come back to the show to to support him."
Bobby was distraught when he took to Twitter last week to share the news about the attack of his cute pooch.
He later deleted the tweets that read: "Absolutely heartbroken to announce that whilst on a walk with my baby Beau, he was mauled to death by another dog.
He continued: “Owners should take responsibility for their pets to avoid these tragedies. There’s no such thing as dangerous dogs, just dangerous owners.”
Bobby was pictured crying at the pet cemetery in Essex as he remembered his beloved pet.
He was snapped planting a tree in memory of his much-loved terrier and looked crushed as he left with Beau's ashes in an urn.
Bobby was joined by his co-stars Danielle Armstrong and Chloe Lewis for the intimate memorial service.
Gemma last returned to the ITVBe show in March to get all the gossip on Bobby's new man Chris, known as Mr MMA.
Last year Gemma, who later appeared on I’m A Celeb and then Celebrity Big Brother, left the show after four years and 15 series.
She said at the time: “I truly have had a blast on TOWIE.
“It’s been so much fun, it’s been dramatic and emotional at times but I’ve loved every minute of it.
Meanwhile, Bobby is rumoured to be heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house next week.
No doubt Gemma will be giving him all the insider goss on what to expect if he joins the show.
He recently told the Daily Star: "There might have been a little chat but nothing's in the pipe line. I do love the show and it's something that I would definitely not rule out.
"I absolutely love Big Brother. I've watched it since series one, day one. I live and breathe Big Brother. Would I do it? Yeah, I think I would."
