Big Brother’s Sam saves Jayne from eviction this week… and replaces her with Andy!

Poor journalist has been up for nearly every eviction since the start of the show

JOURNALIST Andy West had his finalist dreams shattered after being switched with Jayne Connery to face the final public vote.

The housemate assumed he was home and dry after not being nominated in Tuesday night's episode.

However, in the latest in a series of twists, Sam Giffen won an award as part of a challenge that allowed him to save one of the nominated housemates, and replace them with someone else.

He picked Jayne to be saved, and Andy - who has faced nomination almost every week - to take her place.

Andy appeared to be expecting the bad news, ominously telling the Diary Room earlier that day that even though he had been given a "reprieve" he felt there "could be a twist or something" which means he could face the axe.

On Tuesday night's episode housemates were told Jason, Laura, Jayne and Jackson were all up for the public vote in a cruel twist that saw them watch the nomination process in its entirety from the sofas.

Tonight, housemates were given the opportunity for some fun as they took part in a game show about their time inside the house to win luxury treats.

Sam, Alex, Laura, Jackson and Andy all make it through to the 'winner's circle' and all received prizes.

But while Alex was given a three course meal and Jackson was given a beauty treatment, Sam was left with a dud as he was forced to 'save and replace'.

As he reveals his prize- he is left confused as to what it meant, and then was left shocked when Big Brother explained themselves.

Sam shook his head looks devastated as he is forced to choose between and yells expletives as he is forced to make his choice.

Jayne is over the moon with the decision and hugs Sam in thanks as she holds back tears.

Sam then chooses Andy after he was given the advantage of immunity in Annihilation Week.

Sam wasn't the only one to be left unhappy with the results of the prize.

Evelyn Ellis was not best pleased after Alex shuns her in favour of Jason Burrill to enjoy a three course meal with him.

She angrily tells Big Brother in the Diary Room that she feels she should've been chosen instead of Jason so she can spend more time with her wannabe-beau.
