Medical emergency as Big Brother’s Jayne Connery is rushed to hospital
The reality star is believed to be doing well and recovering in hospital
THERE has been a medical emergency in the Big Brother house that saw Jayne Connery rushed to hospital.
It's believed Jane fell off a bridge into the pool as part of a task, which will be aired on tonight's show.
Earlier in the day Jayne was asked to complete a secret mission to "act crazy" for the day.
Scenes show the blonde in tears as she stampedes around the house, looked on by a confused Evelyn Ellis.
The housemates were later challenged to build a bridge across the pool that could support one housemate at a time.
They were split into three teams and given pads and helmets beforehand and to win the task they must each try to keep their balance for 90 seconds while members of the opposite teams throw sponges and water balloons at them.
Jayne, who was on the blue team was nervous about the task and said her "legs felt like jelly".
Jackson, from the Green team, threw a wet sponge at her, which caused her lose her balance and fall down into the pool.
The housemates ran to help Jayne out of the pool but a medic was also called in to help her.
As a precaution Jayne was taken to hospital and Jackson was left feeling guilty but the others convince him that it was just an accident.
Later on, Big Brother tells the housemates that Jayne is fine and is receiving medical attention away from the house.
Jackson is relieved later on when Jayne returns to house and he gives a huge hug and apologises.
The housemates are happy to have her back and she tells Big Brother in the Diary Room that she "is feeling good".
Big Brother airs tonight at 10pm on Channel 5.
