BBC comedy favourite Mrs Brown’s Boys to air live episode tonight… with no time limit
Mrs Brown actor Brendan O'Carroll says TV bosses are giving him free reign to create the show he wants
A LIVE episode of Mrs Brown’s Boys tonight has no set time limit after stars were told to “just keep it going”.
Brendan O’Carroll, 60, who plays Agnes Brown, revealed: “I said, ‘How long have we got?’ And they said, ‘Well, how long do you want?’ Give me a target, at least!
“They said, ‘If it’s funny, just keep it going. Do the show you want’.
“I think that’s very, very trusting. What a high it’s going to be. I’m going to be getting a whole new sensation or getting escorted from the studio by security men!”
The one-off show, starting on BBC1 at 9.45pm, is due to be followed by a documentary on comic Peter Kay.
The expletive-laden comedy will have no swear filter after bosses decided not to use the necessary five-second delay.
