Maya Jama confirms her relationship with Burberry boss is strictly platonic and says he’s ‘my honey not my mans’
MAYA Jama has confirmed the nature of her relationship with Burberry boss Riccardo Tisci after she hugged the designer in a cosy snap.
The 26-year-old sent the rumour mill into overdrive when she shared the fun-filled photo with the Italian fashion designer on Instagram.
The Sun reported how fans were left questioning Maya's relationship with the openly gay designer.
Despite Riccardo being open about his sexuality, some fans were left confused and believed he and Maya were an item.
But now Maya has confirmed: "You lot need to chill he's my honey not my mansss." (sic)
Maya's love life is always the subject of much speculation and Maya has recently been linked to NBA star Ben Simmons after she secretly celebrated Christmas with her ex Stormzy.
The grime star, 27, spent time at the telly presenter’s London home on Christmas Day.
Maya, 26, dumped Stormzy in August 2019 after more than four years together but they are now growing close again.
A source said: "Stormzy and Maya remained friends after their split and they decided to spend some time together over Christmas.
"They kept it very low key and remained at her place in the capital.
“This is very much friendship but their mates think something could happen between them in the future.
“They made a lovely couple and given everything that’s happened this year, it seems they could grow closer again.”
"Both Stormzy and Maya have made it clear it’s too early to start talking about romance."
However hopes that the pair were reconciling were dashed earlier this month when it was reported that Maya "is secretly dating NBA star Ben Simmons and flew to America to see him".
A source told : "Things are hotting up for Maya and Ben. They are really into each other and the fact she flew to Philadelphia to be with him says a lot.
"They had a fun two weeks together. It's nice to see her so happy."
The paper claims Maya posted a photo of herself wearing a lime green tracksuit on March 12.

Then later in the day she was snapped in the same outfit during a shopping trip with the 24-year-old sportsman.
