Katie Price admits she was banned from sleeping with husband Kieran Hayler while he recovered from sex addiction
The former glamour model claims the pair are happier than ever
KATIE Price has revealed that she was banned from having sex with husband Kieran Hayler while he received treatment for his sex addiction.
The Loose Women panellist and her husband of three years went through the difficult period in 2014 after Katie discovered that Kieran had cheated on her with her best friend Jane Pountney.
Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, Katie explained that she had found her husband’s betrayal hard because the couple “never had a problem [with intimacy].”
She continued: “That’s why it was always so hard to understand. If he wasn’t getting it, you could think that was a reason… but it wasn’t. How could it be? We were only together a few months.”
Katie, 38, then revealed exactly what it took to help Kieran change his ways as she admitted: “He wasn't allowed [sex] for ages, because of the therapy."

Katie’s marriage was rocked when she discovered Kieran and Jane kissing on a beach during a joint family holiday to Cape Verde in April 2014.
The former glamour model was pregnant with the couple’s daughter Bunny, now 23 months.
And the affair started weeks after she had given birth to their first child Jett, who turns three next month.
Despite her initial fury and scathing Twitter posts about her husband and best friend in April 2014, Katie decided to stick by her man as he went into intensive therapy for sex addiction.

It then came out when Kieran was in therapy that he’d also bedded her other close pal, 43-year-old Chrissy Thomas.
Now Katie’s convinced all the heartache was worth it and they’ve emerged stronger as she stated: “I prefer the Kieran of today to the old Kieran. The old Kieran is dead.”
One way she’s dealt with the ordeal is by putting pen to paper for her sixth autobiography Reborn, out in September.
Katie admitted to the mag: “Kieran has read it. I have my ways to make things obvious [about who I’m talking about]. I find with people who do try to deny things, the truth always comes out eventually. It’s been by far the hardest book to write.
