The showrunners have wasted no time in getting the show greenlit for another series which has been keeping fans entertained over the last month.

They also shared that the driving force behind the show's success is the dynamic between radio presenter Amanda, 50, and This Morning presenter Alison, 46.

Bosses added: "Due to the incredible ratings success of I Can See Your Voice, which has brought some much needed fun and laughter to Saturday night prime-time television, the show has already been recommissioned for a second series.

"Amanda and Alison's genuine on-air chemistry has proved to be a ratings winner with the [latest episode] peaking at 5.1 million. It’s a runaway success!"

Presented by Paddy McGuiness, 47, I can See Your Voice, which also features Jimmy Carr, 48, on the celebrity panel, graced British screens back in April and is based on a South Korean programme.

The gameshow sees teams of two players predict who can and cannot sing from a group of mystery strangers - without hearing them sing.

Describing the show, Paddy said: "You've got to guess by how they hold the microphone, their mannerisms, little video clips we see of their home life, and lip-sync rounds.

"You want to leave a good singer to the very end, and get rid of the bad singers all throughout the show."

A group of six mystery singers will be whittled down by contestants with the help of celebrity panellists to just one, without the group performing a single note.

The final mystery singer will then perform a duet with a guest artist to reveal if they are good or bad.

If the mystery singer is good, the contestants win £10,000.

However, if the mystery singer is bad, then the £10,000 goes to the mystery person themselves.
