‘Get a grip!’ Piers Morgan slams Jennifer Aniston for sobbing about body insecurities and reminds her ‘half the world is starving!’
The GMB presenter wasn’t impressed with her emotional outpouring
PIERS Morgan has slammed Jennifer Aniston for getting emotional and breaking down at a film festival.
The GMB presenter said he had no sympathy for the actress and said she needs to “get a grip” as there are more important things to worry about in the world.
The actress, 47, was attending a live Q&A session with some teenagers at the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy when one asked them if she had ever questioned who she was.
Jennifer got emotional as she replied and said it has happened to her a lot – but Piers was left un-impressed by her tears.
Accusing her of “self-wallowing”, he said: "If it's going to upset you, don't put your body out there and do hundreds of magazine covers. You do have a choice. Nobody forced her to do naked magazine shoots.
“When you put your body out there like that, you're making your body a commodity and everyone can have a slice of the pie."
Leaping to her defence, his co-host Susanna Reid said Jennifer isn’t “as thick-skinned, as many of us aren’t, as you are Piers Morgan,” to which he replied, “then don’t do it”.
He added: "Nobody has to post a picture on Instagram, nobody has to join Twitter, nobody has to be on Facebook. Nobody in Hollywood is actually legally compelled to do naked magazine covers.
"If you do that, you can’t then go, ‘oh woe is me, and they’re all taking pictures of my body that I’ve just put naked on a magazine cover for the 5,000th time. Come on! Get a grip!”

Despite Susanna desperately trying to interrupt, Piers continued with his rant and added: “Remember, half the world is starving. Most of the rest of the world has no money, has no mansion, no Ferrari, no handsome Hollywood star husband like Jennifer.
“That's my take on this. Get a grip, Jennifer."
