"Considering the news I got a couple of days ago, I feel like this amount of pornstar martinis is definitely allowed."

Demi looked in high spirits considering the heartbreaking news she received earlier this week.

The Portsmouth-born star has kept her fans up to date with the lump she found in her neck, after opening up about it last month.

The star first noticed the lump back in 2019, but it was only after her stint on the ITV dating show that she decided to get it checked.

At the beginning of April Demi broke down in tears when the doctors told her it could be something serious.

Three weeks later she had the "potentially cancerous" lump removed from her neck.

And earlier this week she confirmed the news that she wasn't wanting to hear.

She told fans: "Hi guys, I got my results today and unfortunately I have thyroid cancer.

"I'm staying very positive and I'm a strong girl so I'll be fine.

"Thank you for your love and support always. I'll bounce back stronger."

Since sharing the devastating news Demi admitted that she felt "so loved it hurts" as her friends, family and Love Island co-stars showed their support.

Thyroid cancer develops in your thyroid gland, which is located in your neck.

It is usually noticed when a lump forms there, but other symptoms include difficulty swallowing or having a sore throat for a number of weeks that won't go away.

Demi shot to fame on the first ever winter series of Love Island back in January 2020.

When she entered the villa as a bombshell she had her eyes on Nas Majeed, but ended up finishing in third place with Luke Mabbott.
