James ‘Arg’ Argent spotted working hard to shift the weight in a bid to prove to ex Lydia Bright he’s boyfriend material again

JAMES Argent doesn’t give up that easily, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
And in an attempt to win back the love of his life, the TOWIE star is throwing himself into his exercise routines to shift the weight to prove to Lydia Bright he’s still a catch.
Despite being reduced to tears by Lydia during a heated confrontation in Marbella last week, the singer hasn’t given up hope of winning his beloved blonde back.
And he seems to be pulling out all the stops to make himself a fitter man and show her what he is made of.
He was snapped in the park with good friend James Locke as they were put through their paces with their personal trainer.
She had them working on their core using an abdominal roller and after a couple of failed attempts, Arg was seeing getting into the exercise.
He’s turned into a right old gym bunny of late, sharing photos on his Instagram page of his workouts as he tones and trims.
The 28-year-old has always battled with his weight but has lost an impressive three stone recently as he attends boot camps and regular training sessions.
He even had fans asking for dieting advice after his impressive transformation!
A source told The Sun: “Arg’s goal was to lose five stone and he is well on his way there. He’s done it before and he can do it again.”
Arg’s new health kick comes after a difficult year for the Essex lad following a spell in rehab for anxiety, chronic depression and low self-esteem.
Then there was the bust-up with Lydia, who he has been on and off with for the last five years but she called it a day earlier this year.
Despite insisting they would remain civil to each other when the new series started filming, she left him in tears on the beach in Spain when they came face-to-face with each other and made it clear it was definitely over between them.
And that wasn't James's only irritation this week after he was caught with his hands down his shorts having a good old scratch as he waited outside a restaurant in Essex.
