Lauren Goodger admits she’s ‘starving and has 200 aches and pains’ as she wakes every hour in pregnancy
PREGNANT Lauren Goodger has opened up about feeling "starving" and struggling with "200 aches and pains" as she nears her due date.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 34, took to Instagram to reveal she was waking up "every hour" at night during her eighth month of pregnancy.
Lauren, who returned to work earlier this week a month ahead of her due date, told her fans she couldn't stop thinking about food at night.
Writing to her Instagram stories, the reality star shared: "Woken up starving! Worst sleep, round 200 aches and pains in my back, legs, hips."
While she insisted she was "so tired" and couldn't wait "to get back to sleep", Lauren said her "baby girls kicking was making her smile".
"All I can think of is food! Hunger pains!" she concluded the post, as she told her 728,000 followers she was "awake every hour again".
It comes after Lauren returned to work at a cosmetic clinic despite being almost EIGHT months pregnant earlier this week.
Owning her own business called LG Aesthetics London, Lauren has been busy with clients ahead of her July due date.
After undergoing a micro-blading eyebrow course a couple of years ago, the mum-to-be completed an aesthetics course last year.
The star stopped injecting when lockdown hit in March 2020, and when she found out she was pregnant with boyfriend Charles Drury's baby in January this year it was moved to the back end of her list of priorities.
Now, at 31 weeks pregnant, Lauren is back doing what she loves and has been posting loads of transformation pictures on Instagram.
"Me being an absolute lunatic I’ve decided to get back into doing fillers while I’m 31 weeks pregnant," she wrote.
"I’ve set up a booking system and then I did another course this week to learn more about it. I’ve had quite a few clients already and I'm enjoying it. I must be mad!"
Lauren told her midwife that she had re-started her aesthetics business and she was told that this is the time in her pregnancy where she should be winding down.
She explained: "She said this is the time where I should be slowing down and not taking on something new...
"She told me to rest as much as I can and sleep as much as I can, but I’m going to see how I go after doing a couple of days here and there.
Just last week Lauren took to Instagram to ask her followers if any of them would like to model her work.
Alongside a picture of her injecting some filler into a client, she wrote: "I am looking for Russian Lip models. I am fully qualified and fully trained I just want models!
Aside from working hard, the star has previously opened up about struggling to sleep ahead of the birth as she filmed her blossoming belly on her Instagram Story.
Lauren revealed the happy baby news at the beginning of 2021.
She told magazine: "I was in bed not well with a cold and I was meant to come on that day and I’m always quite regular.
"We went and bought a test from a bargain shop and I did it - I couldn’t believe it! I rang him and he was like: 'You’re lying, you’re joking.'
