Louise Redknapp will be ‘hurt’ by ex Jamie’s baby news says pal Lizzie Cundy
LIZZIE Cundy has said her close friend Louise Redknapp will be no doubt be “hurt” by her ex Jamie’s baby news.
The Sun revealed last month that the 47-year-old former footballer is expecting his third child with model Frida Andersson-Lourie.
Speaking to magazine, the TV personality opened up about how her pal will be hurt by the news her ex-husband has well and truly moved on.
Lizzie, 53, who was previously married to footballer Jason Cundy, said: “She will feel shocked and her heart will be hurting.
“I burst into tears when Jason told me he was going o be a dad again. You know it’s over, but you’ve got your family together and you just don’t expect them to start another family elsewhere.”
Jamie, who has been dating Swedish model Frida, 37, for 18 months, revealed his baby news less than three years after his divorce from Louise.
The couple were married for 19 years and share sons Charlie, 16, and Beau, 12.
Fellow ex-Wag Lizzie, 53, also went through divorce from footballer Jason after 20 years together and the birth of two sons.
He quickly moved on with a new woman and went on to father a third child with his new wife.
Lizzie added that she feels Louise will always have a soft spot in her heart for her ex-husband, having endured nearly two decades together.
She added: “Louise will always be in love with Jamie.
“It’s difficult when you’ve had almost 20 years together but, as time goes on, she will find someone else. It’s just going to be tough at the minute as everyone is talking about it.
“And if she found out via other people, that is bound to hurt, too.”
Frida already has four kids with US hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie and her baby with Jamie is due in November.
Last week, Jamie and Frida were seen going for coffee in West London after The Sun revealed they are “absolutely delighted” to be starting a family together.
Former England and Liverpool footballer Jamie wore blue slacks, leather trainers, a cardigan and a white T-shirt, with Frida sporting leggings, a pale pink jumper and white trainers.
The stunner teamed the look with a Christian Dior bag worth around £3,000.
A source said: “Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted. They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.
“The couple started telling their nearest and dearest last week.
“Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing. But both he and Frida will be brilliant, hands-on parents.”
Jamie has been dating Swede Frida for the past 18 months after being introduced through pals.
It is thought his ex Louise has been informed, and it is understood Jamie’s parents, Harry and Sandra, both 74, were told and are also delighted by news of their latest grandchild.
Jamie and Louise split amicably in 2017 after 19 years of marriage following her stint on Strictly Come Dancing the previous year.
Louise later admitted being on the show contributed to their break-up.
Meanwhile, Frida has since thanked fans for their support and messages after The Sun revealed their baby news.
