The hilarious moment Ben Shephard drags Good Morning Britain co-presenter Kate Garraway into an ice bath

BEN Shephard caused an uproar on Good Morning Britain today when he dragged his co-host Kate Garraway into an ice bath.

The presenter was easing his tired muscles in some freezing water following a challenge from his GMB co-star, and he got his revenge on Kate by grabbing her and pulling her into the bath.

Kate spent much of the morning convincing Ben to face his fears and climb into a bath of icy water after he completed a 210-mile triathlon.

She even promised to make a donation to the charity he chose for the challenge, and Ben finally relented.

He said: "I'm devastated because they have actually donated so I've got to do it now."

However, he was plotting revenge on Kate and had a nasty surprise for her after he climbed into the bath.

Ben grabbed Kate by the wrist and pulled her into the ice bath with him.

She yelled out and struggled as she was plunged into the icy water, soaking her blue and white floral dress and suede shoes.

Viewers were sent into a frenzy by the stunt, and many praised Kate for keeping her cool and refraining for utter a swear word on live TV.

One fan tweeted: "@benshephard just seen you and @kategarraway with ice bath! So funny I hope she is still your friend... how did she not swear live on air?..."

Many fans were swooning over Ben's stubble this morning, and several admitted they wouldn't mind sharing an ice bath with the hunky presenter.

The stunt comes just months after Ben previously left Kate red-faced during another GMB installment.

Kate was devastated after Ben picked her up during a segment and accidentally flashed her Spanx body-shaping underwear to the world.
