CBB’s Grant Bovey admits ex wife Anthea Turner ‘didn’t deserve’ the hurt he put her through
Bankrupt businessman is currently least favourite to win show
LOVE rat Celebrity Big Brother star Grant Bovey has finally held his hands up and admitted he treated ex-wife Anthea Turner badly.
The 54-year-old bankrupt businessman left the TV presenter, 55, distraught when he left her for 27-year-old socialite Zoe De Mallet Morgan after racking up debts of millions.
Entering the CBB house last night, he said: “You probably do think I’m a love rat, I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life. If I could turn back the clock and change things I would.”
He continued: “I went personally bankrupt and I was on my knees.
“Then I was publicly humiliated. I felt like ending it all, absolutely. When you are facing that adversity you go in a very dark place.”
“Completely and utterly on my knees. I was ridiculed and singularly blamed for the demise of the property market in the UK.”
