Katie Price under fire after footage emerges of her riding husband Kieran’s horse without a helmet
Fans said she was an 'idiot' not to be wearing a safety helmet while horse riding
KATIE Price has come under fire from her fans after she shared a video of her riding her husband Kieran Hayler's horse without a safety helmet.
The Loose Women panellist is known for her love of horse riding but her followers said that no matter how much experience she has, she should still wear a hat.
The video shows the former glamour model trotting around an enclosure on a beautiful brown and white horse.
She captioned the clip: "Having a ride on Kieran's horse."
However, many of her 1.2million Instagram followers were concerned for her safety with many branding her "an idiot" for not wearing a hat.
One wrote: "Naughty no hat! Doesn't matter how good you are should always wear one."
Another added: "Not a good example to not wear a hat.
Someone else said: "Great idea. Post a video not wearing a riding hat to loads of impressionable young people. Idiotic move!"
Another fan said: "Please please wear a riding hat! No matter how good a rider you think you are ..... Things happen. Protect your head not your ego."

Others jumped to her defence with many saying she's able to make her own choices.
One fan wrote: "Wearing a hat is down to Katie. Nothing to do with anyone else. Give the girl a break.
Another added: "Beautiful horse, it's totally up to Katie if she feels safe without a hat not anyone else's."
Someone else said: "Omg LOL people saying hat hat seriously chill out. If she doesn't want to wear one then whats it to you, she will make sure her children wears it and you make sure you wear yours.
"Not everyone wears hats. She probably will tell you the same. I have seen her wear hats every other time, it was probably the once."
Meanwhile, Katie is back with a new horse riding reality show called Katie Price's Pony Club.
The preview clip for the series features the 38-year-old cracking the whip, literally, stripping off for a sexy photoshoot and warning: “No hurdle is too big for the Pricey.”
It also features her two children from her relationship with Peter Andre – Princess and Junior who have made no secret of their love of being TV again following a long hiatus.
Speaking in a piece to camera Junior says: “I’m very competitive I like winning.”
Princess didn’t disagree, saying: “Junior is a big show off .”
The fly-on-the-stable-wall show is based at Katie’s own family home in West Sussex, where she already keeps her five horses, four goats, four dogs, three pigs and one baby hedgehog.
Princess and Junior star alongside their closest friends in an attempt to create a top pony club team.
The six novice riders are supported by their outspoken parents as they take on the best crop of children in the elite sport.
