Charlotte Crosby contacts Donald Trump for help following her drink driving conviction amid American visa issues
The Geordie Shore star has recently appealed her ban to the American embassy
CHARLOTTE Crosby has reached out to Donald Trump after her drink driving convictions have left her banned from obtaining an American visa.
The Geordie Shore star, 26, turned to the Republican presidential nominee, 70, after undergoing a series of physical and mental tests at the American embassy.
After initially tweeting Trump asking her to follow him, Charlotte confessed to The Sun Online all about her cunning plan to make it in the States.
“I was really, really, drunk when I tweeted him,” she tells us.
“We’d been talking about getting into America and I’d done my tests and I think that’s where it stemmed from, I think.”
When asked if she is legally allowed entry into the United States of America, Charlotte added: “I’ve done my medical and find out at the end of the week.
"It’s to check your well-being. You have to have a medical and answer loads of questions about yourself just to check you’re a sane person in your head.
"It all went fine and my results came back fine… now I just have to wait to hear back from the embassy.”
Charlotte’s dreams of making it in the states were dashed after being found guilty of a second drink driving offence in March.
As well as being banned from driving for three years, Newcastle Magistrates' Court heard she was banned from driving for 18 months in 2012 and because this is a second offence she is now unable to get a visa to travel to the USA.
Other than work, Charlotte also confessed her desire to travel across America.
She added: “I want to go travelling around America! I’d love to have about five months where I just go off. I don’t know if I can next year… but definitely before I’m 30 and before I have kids. I’d like to do it with a partner.”
