Chloe-Jasmine Whichello witnessed the breakdown of Cheryl’s marriage and reckons the pressure of X Factor was ‘too much’

magazine: "It was amazing how Cheryl handled and conducted herself because she had so much to deal with on the show.

"It wasn't specifically Simon who put a lot of pressure on her, but the show as a whole certainly did.

";She was emotionally crippled by it all."

Cheryl, 33, married French businessman Jean-Bernard in July 2014 and just one month later returned to the judging panel of the ITV1 show.

On the difficult situation, Chloe added: "Being in a new relationship, getting married and then going on The X Factor seems like quite a stressful combination.

"It also can't have been easy for someone like Jean-Bernard, who doesn't really know the entertainment industry to understand how strenuous being on a show like The X Factor is.

"But if you love someone you will make it work."

The Sun recently revealed that Cheryl's estranged husband believed the show and Simon Cowell was to blame for the failure of their marriage.

The 35-year-old told pals Simon left the star feeling she had no choice but to stay on the show despite quitting in 2014.

Cheryl is currently dating One Direction singer Liam Payne, who is 11 years her junior.
