‘I LIKE TO EAT AND I’M NOT AFRAID TO’: Ferne McCann shrugs off being a plus-size in America
But the TOWIE star said it was ‘b*******’ that women are labelled because of their figure
FERNE McCann has said she was shocked to be labelled a plus size in American – but it didn’t stop her having a hamburger dinner.
The former TOWIE star has been out in Los Angeles where it’s believed she is hoping to launch her Hollywood career, but said she couldn’t believe she was considered to be big.
The 25-year-old was speaking in an interview with Pretty Little Liars actress Tammin Sursok, who has a series on YouTube called In Bed with Tammin, in which she sits in bed with a female star talking about women’s issues.
For her latest one, she was joined by Ferne – who has become her good friend since they were seen hanging out in LA last month.
And Ferne spoke about moving out to the States but was stunned to find that she was considered to be plus-sized.
She said: “Yesterday, I found out that in the States, I’m a plus-size! First of all, how can we even be labelled, we shouldn’t be labelled plus-sized, size zero, all this b*******.
“I couldn’t believe it because not that there’s anything wrong with being a plus-size…”
Tammin interjected: “You’re a beautiful woman, you have a beautiful, beautiful figure. You should not wake up any morning and feel bad about yourself.

“And most men – and I beg anyone to say this is wrong – would rather have sex with somebody who’s curvy than somebody who’s not eating, I promise you. It’s not attractive and it’s not sexy.”
Ferne added: “You need people that are in the public eye, bloggers whatever, that have a big following, that can step out and not conform, not to be size zero.
“Me personally, I am a realistic, size 10, curvy, pushing size 12, on a good day – and that’s how it is. I like to eat, last night, yes, I went to In-N-Out Burger and I went animal style and I’m not afraid to do it!
“I think you’ve got to be healthy.”
Tammin agreed and added: “Absolutely. And you have to love yourself."
