Stars back England heroes with messages of support ahead of Euro 2020 final
A glittering host of stars have got behind England ahead of tonight’s Euro 2020 final with Italy.
Simon Cowell, 61, said: “This is the best boost the country can have right now — good luck tonight.”

Grateful This Morning host Phillip Schofield, 59, said: “To our squad, thank you for being the lift we needed.
“You have transformed the mood of the country and given us something to celebrate that is priceless. Bring it home, boys.”
And TV presenter Dermot O’Leary, 48, despite being a proud Irishman, said of Southgate: “You would have to have a heart of stone not to be moved by the way his England team have approached the Euros.
“Both on and off the pitch, they are an example of everything that is good about Britain, not just England, but Britain.
“A team rich in diversity, who are humble, hard-working and play for each other, led by a manager who is empathetic, intelligent, both tactically and emotionally.”
His co-host on This Morning Alison Hammond, 46, added: “I’m so proud of you guys getting to where you are.”
Take That star Gary Barlow, 50, said he sent the entire squad “massive good luck and respect”.
Bandmate Howard Donald, 53, added: “Southgate has done an amazing job and can hold his head up high regardless of the result against Italy.”
TV personality and Crawley FC player Mark Wright, 34, said: “I’ve waited for this my whole life. Everyone involved with England football, thank you for making this dream come true.
“Whatever the result, you’ve made us smile and, most importantly, made us unite again.”
The JLS lads put on England shirts while recording music for their upcoming album.
Marvin Humes, 36, said: “Come on, lads. The entire nation is behind you. Euros final at Wembley Stadium. The stage is set, bring it home, boys.”

Goalkeeping legend Peter Shilton, 71 — England’s most capped player with 125 appearances — said: “Come on, lads, you can make history by winning tonight.”
World heavyweight boxing champ Anthony Joshua, 31, said: “It has been a Sterling effort so far, the nation believes you Kane go all the way and I’m sure you will leave everything on the pitch.”
Fellow boxing legend Frank Bruno, 59, roared: “Come on, England. One more game to go. Keep fighting. Let’s do the business.”
Model Katie Price, 34, told of her excitement and added: “Come on lads, you can bring it home, England — we’ve got this.”
A whole host of other celebrities have headed to social media to share their support with snaps of them wearing England shirts and waving flags.
Former WAG Cheryl - who was once married to Ashley Cole - shard a throwback snap of Girls Aloud cheering on England.
Throwing her support behind the Three Lions, Cheryl, 38, could be seen holding up an England post as she left lion emojis in the captions.
Amanda Holden also got into the spirit, donning just an England shirt as she struck a sultry pose on her garden porch.
Meanwhile, England ace David Beckham also took to his Instagram to show his support, particularly captain Harry Kane, with a throwback snap.
Showing Harry, 27, and his now-wife Katie Goodland standing beside Becks, the Inter Miami owner wrote: "Proud moment for the Kane family today."
Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid shared a throwback snap of herself and manager Gareth Southgate behind the scenes at ITV.

Singer Rita Ora also joined in with the celebrations, stripping totally naked and holding an England shirt in front of her to support the boys.
