Britt Ekland admits she’s had no interest in sex for 20 YEARS – and will only share her bed with her pet dog
Swedish actress also reveals that having plastic surgery in her 50s was her biggest mistake
DESPITE being known for her sex symbol status in the 70s and her extensive love life, Britt Ekland has revealed that she hasn't been interested in sex for 20 years.
The Swedish actress, 73, told the Daily Mail: "I am not looking for anyone and I don’t want to be in a relationship."
She added that she was content sleeping in her king-sized beds in her homes in Sweden and LA with her cutely-named chihuahua Tequila.
The actress evidently adores her chihuahua and has shared many snaps of the sweet 13-year-old dog on Instagram.
Britt Eckland said: "I don’t want to wake up with a man in the bed, passing wind and snoring and with bad breath and all the rest of it, in his dirty underwear. No thank you!"
The Suede has had a number of famous lovers in the past, most of whom she is on good terms with. But one she has a rather tenuous relationship with is Rod Stewart.
The pair were together for two years from 1975 and pushed the pause button on her career to be with him until he cheated on her with Alana Hamilton, Rod's first wife. She then sued him for $12million in palimony, but later settled out for court for around $500,000.
She said: "I am not a vengeful or bitter person, but I have a feeling that he dislikes me intensely."
The actress has married twice - Peter Sellers, from 1964-1968 and drummer Slim Jim Phantom, from 1984-1992. She has three children: Victoria, with Peter Sellers; Nicolai, with Lou Adler; and TJ, with Slim Jim.
Britt also revealed that having plastic surgery in her 50s was her biggest error in judgement.

The actress commented: "It destroyed my looks and ruined my face. It was the biggest mistake of my life."
She also admitted that she had been told that her front teeth were too long and 20th Century Fox told her to file them down. Britt also wanted her "lips to puff out a bit".
She told the : "I looked like a pie where the crust comes up... I got criticised in the media, something that is always worse for a woman."
Britt argued that the fact that Mickey Rourke and Sylvester Stallone looked "like something out of a horror movie" but weren't criticised for it was unfair.
She said: "Instead, they were saying how bad I was, how vain I was. Why had I done it? Blah, blah, blah."
The actress also said that while she wasn't against cosmetic surgery, she would advise people to be cautious: "I’m not totally against plastic surgery. If it is done right, it can be amazing, uplifting. Sharon Stone, Christie Brinkley, Jane Fonda? All beyond unbelievable.
"But they are women with millions and millions in the bank."
Britt also spoke about her friend Joan Collins who "feels the need to be sexy at 83" and said that she's "not like her": "If you call me 'sexy Brit', I will puke. I am going to be 74-years-old, how can I be sexy?"
Last month Britt Ekland spoke on the Loose Women panel about her relationship with Peter Sellers.
She married the British actor when she was 21 after he saw her photograph in the paper and then met in London.
The Swede said that she was "naive and very unsophisticated" and claimed that she was "his little toy".
She revealed: "He decided my life. If he didn't want to film - I was offered lots of films - and if he didn't like it, he would say to the agent 'I don't want her to do it'. So he decided all aspects of my life."
Britt has also made reality TV appearances, including her stint on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here in 2010 alongside Stacey Solomon and Shaun Rider.
