Asking editors to pull up a picture of the 67-year-old former Big Brother contestant on screen, Eamonn, 57, said: "I was watching over the weekend with Ruth and my family right, three of my children were there and they started tittering and laughing.

"I said 'What are you laughing at?' and they said ‘Cause dad, we call Biggins, you.

"'Cause you look like that in the house, your hair sits like that, you wear a dressing gown like that and you have that expression.'"

Pulling a frown as his face was shown alongside Christopher's, Eamonn asked: "I don’t look like that do I?"

His wife Ruth replied: "There’s the similar look of bed hair in the morning..."

While the show's showbiz correspondent Rylan Clarke commented: "There is a similar look. I've got to be honest - there’s a bit of the Biggins about ya."

Struggling to contain her laughter, Ruth added: "And the kids said your dressing gown is always slightly open showing a bit of chest rug."
