HOLLYOAKS bosses are facing calls to axe castmember Parry Glasspool after he shared a disturbing video in which he wielded a knife and appeared to mock domestic violence.
The actor sparked a fan backlash by posting the clip on his Instagram page, and many followers now want show bosses to cut him from the line-up.
Parry, 24, who plays Harry Thompson in the Channel 4 soap, hit headlines over weekend when he shared the creepy clip with his Instagram followers.
In the video, he is seen brandishing a knife and pretends to be a jealous girlfriend recording a viscous message for her other half.
He captioned the clip: "When girls try and hide their crazy…"
Parry is heard speaking in a high-pitched voice as he declares: "Babe, I don't mind you talking to other girls, okay? After watching, I wouldn't really mind. No, actually I would. No, joking babe, joking."
He went on to add: "I would kill you if you did! No, I wouldn't even know how to with this knife.
"Actually, I know exactly how to. I've done it before and I'd do it again, so don't even think about it!"

The clio infuriated his followers and prompted Parry to deactivate his social media accounts, and fans are now calling for him to be sacked from Hollyoaks.
Many took to Twitter to blast Parry over the video, insisting his actions were demeaning to victims of domestic violence.
One tweeted: "If Parry Glasspool isn't axed from oaks I don't know what they're thinking. HE TOOK THE P**S OUT IF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!"

Several others demanded he should say sorry for his remarks, with one writing: "Parry Glasspool should post a public apology for his video

Some fans came to his defence, insisting Parry was just larking about by filming the clip.
