Celebrity Big Brother star Lewis Bloor’s mum slams ‘rubbish’ claims that her son is bullying Heavy D
Claire insists that Lewis is simply standing up for what he believes in
AFTER Celebrity Big Brother viewers accused Lewis Bloor of being a “vile bully” during his argument with Heavy D last night, the Towie star’s mum Claire has hit back saying the claims are “absolute rubbish.”
CBB fans were left outraged by Lewis’s behaviour towards the Storage Hunters star when he lashed out during a row over Marnie Simpson and hidden alcohol, however Claire is adamant that her son was just sticking up for what he believes in.
Following claims that Lewis has “more faces than a clock”, Claire said: “I don’t think there are two sides, there’s just the genuine Lewis that you’ve seen.
“Lewis is the same inside the house as what he is outside the house, he is a gentleman, he is caring, he does stand up for what he believes is right and that’s the truth
“The bullying accusations are absolute rubbish, he is not bullying Heavy D.
“Bullying is a really easy word to be thrown around, and a bully incessantly goes to someone and picks on them, Lewis is reacting to the situation, he is certainly not consistently digging Heavy D out, he is just reacting when Heavy D does something - and that is not bullying.
“If anyone is doing that it’s Heavy D.”
Lewis and Marnie's treatment of Heavy D received 22 Ofcom complaints yesterday, but Claire says Lewis was just defending his love interest and feels that Heavy D falsely swearing on his mother’s life would have been the “ultimate sin.”
“Lewis was defending Marnie last night, as she really is severely allergic to wheat.
“He actually gave Heavy D his glass of wine, but still Heavy D carried on talking about them or Marnie hiding the wine, because he drinks it all.
“And to swear on his mother’s life like he had previously, that would have really ticked Lewis’s boxes, everyone knows how close he is to me, and to say, ‘Swear on your mum’s life’ that you didn’t do something that you did, is the ultimate sin and horrific to him, and that’s when he really lost the plot and wasn’t happy.”
As for her thoughts on whether it’s fair that Lewis is the bookie’s favourite to leave tomorrow with odds at 4/6, Claire says: “The haters like to hate don’t they. I find it quite shocking when you look at Bear’s antics and the way Heavy D’s behaving.
“I think people are picking on Lewis as he’s Bear’s friend, and because they’re stuck with Bear.
“I don’t think people will vote for Bear as he’s good TV, whether that’s good or bad.”
