Will might have just dropped the biggest clue yet that he’ll be competing for the Glitter Ball
WILL Young looks primed to announce that he’ll be joining Strictly Come Dancing this year, after earlier teasing fans about something “big news” is coming at 3pm today.
Rumours have been buzzing for more than a month now that the 2002 Pop Idol winner is set to join the much loved dance show, and today Will, 37, finally seems to getting in on the excitement, tweeting, “Today is going to be exciting”, and later adding: “Big news coming at 3pm – Can you guess?!”
An insider has already revealed to The Sun that Will is a “brilliant” signing for them.
“Will is a brilliant signing for us. He is extremely popular, a true professional,” said a show source.
“He can be quite competitive and he is no shrinking violet.”
And if Will is set to have his jazz hands ready for the primetime Saturday night show, he looks like he’s already making jokes with his fellow dancers.
After politician Ed Balls was announced for the line-up yesterday, Will simply tweeted “Ed Balls”, in reference to the time that Ed became the butt of a Twitter joke but tweeting his own name.
The Pop Idol winner will reportedly also be competing against the likes of WAG and ex-Eternal singer Louise Rednapp, singer Anastacia and TV favourite Judge Rinder.
