Once a rare luxury, they are fast becoming a staple feature inside stars’ home renovation projects.

Chloe Ferry recently curled up in her film room to watch Love Island after a trip to Ibiza.

The darkened space is lit by a blue neon trim and has speakers built into the ceiling for that authentic surround sound experience.

The Geordie Shore star’s ex Sam Gowland has turned his room into the ultimate man cave, lining the walls with framed Middlesbrough shirts as well as a piece of Rocky memorabilia.

His sofa is so huge it makes anyone who sits on it look like tiny, and little LEDs in the ceiling add a neat extra touch.

Not only does Jacqueline have a cool bar in her house, she also has a cinema-sized telly perfect for screening kids’ classics.

EastEnders star Danny Dyer seems to have had a similar idea for his own lavish cinema room.
