Sarah Harding wells up with tears discussing Ghost role as she makes VERY leggy appearance on Lorraine
The 34-year-old is gearing up to make her stage debut with the iconic part
SARAH Harding became very emotional as she discussed her new role in Ghost: The Musical during an appearance on Lorraine this morning.
The 34-year-old couldn’t help but well up with tears after watching a brief clip from the hit film.
Speaking to Lisa Snowdon, who is stepping in for Lorraine, she admitted that she was incredibly emotional because it is such an honour to take on Demi Moore’s iconic character.
Sarah, who showed off plenty of thigh in a racy black dress, said: “It’s such an amazing love story. Those tears are going to be real.
“There are a lot of love scenes which is going to be new for me. I’m going to have to learn some pottery.”
The former Girls Aloud singer, who enjoyed a brief stint on Corrie, added: “I am so honoured to be given the opportunity.”
While Sarah is playing Molly, which will see her use an American accent, Hollyoaks hunk Andrew Moss is taking on the role of Patrick Swayze’s character Sam Wheat.
Discussing whether Andrew is a singer, Sarah said: “Well the thing is with him I’m more a singer than an actress and he’s more an actor than a singer so we are helping each other out.”
She continued: “I’m nervous but I’m excited. I always said if I didn’t know if I would have the stamina.
“I’m passionate about so I thought why not. It’s good to challenge yourself.”
And rather excitingly she admitted that she had been back in the studio – working with a mystery collaborator.
“I have been back in the studio. I have been collaborating with someone – he’s British,” she revealed.
“He is related to someone who is very well wide known.”
See more from Sarah when she’s live on Dan Wootton’s Facebook page at 10.3am today.
