Viewers outraged as Olympics presenter Helen Skelton covers up following accusations her outfits are too sexy

FANS have called on Olympics presenter Helen Skelton to go back to wearing short skirts after she ditched her sexy outfits amid criticism of the length of her hemlines.

The blonde beauty came under fire last week when she exposed her thighs in a daring black number during coverage of the games in Brazil, but she now appears to have had a wardrobe makeover.

She appeared onscreen last night wearing long navy blue dress, which kept her legs covered, and fans have since taken to Twitter to complain about the style change.

One declared they would be boycotting the rest of the Rio Olympics coverage until Helen's short skirts are reinstated.

The viewer wrote: "If we're not going to get a flash of Helen Skelton's knicks out of all this it's hardly worth watching the Olympics."

Some have suggested the outfit change may have been ordered by BBC bosses to keep the coverage more conservative.

One even made a cheeky comment suggesting she had "borrowed one of her grandma's dresses" following the controversy.
