Stephanie Davis sobs as she goes shopping for unborn son in Mothercare with her lookalike mum
The reality star got very emotional and cradled her bump as she bought baby essentials
STEPHANIE Davis got emotional and broke down in tears as she shopped for items for her unborn son.
The reality TV star was snapped picking out blankets, teddy bears and a cot for her baby at a branch of Mothercare in Chester when she started to cry.
Stephanie, 23, cradled her bump as she sobbed to her mum Pauline who had accompanied her to the shop and was showing her various items.
She put her hand to her mouth to stifle her sobs as she hugged a blanket to her tum and buried her face in a blue teddy bear.
And the former Hollyoaks star, who announced this week she was expecting a boy, wiped back her tears as she and mum wandered up and down the aisles.
Her sobs could have been nothing more than happy tears as she prepares for the birth of her first child.
But she also recently admitted that the pregnancy has left her feeling extremely emotional as she struggles not just with her hormones but also facing the future as a single mum.
Stephanie discovered she was pregnant after a relationship with Irish model Jeremy McConnell, who she got together after they met in the Celebrity Big Brother house in January.
But after they split in May and she revealed she was expecting and it was his baby, he denied he was the father and continues to do so.
Speaking to OK magazine this week, she said: “I got a DVD of the scan and was going to send it to Jeremy but he decided to have no involvement during the pregnancy, so it’s his loss. I went straight to the toilet and cried my eyes out.”

“I’d like to say they were happy tears, but they were tinged with some sadness because seeing my baby like that really made it hit home that I’m going to be a single mum.”
She also revealed she had written a song about her former love and added: “I’ve recorded one about him so far. I’ve never been good at explaining my emotions so I find it easier to write lyrics about how I’m feeling.
“During my lowest points, when I couldn’t stop crying, I would sit with a pen and paper and write.”
Stephanie, whose baby is due next year, had broken down a few times during her pregnancy and in a series of late night Snapchat clips earlier this month, she admitted to feeling very lonely and having a meltdown after her mum cooked pork instead of bacon which she was craving.
She said: ““I was having a bad day as all my friends have boyfriends/babies and are getting married and then there’s just me.
“I have just had a really tough pregnancy and I’ve been really really ill and I just really wanted someone to make me a cup of tea and make me a bacon butty.
It isn’t really about the food, it’s about the fact that no one is there to make me bacon or rub my back. I’m constantly sleeping and being sick, something isn’t right.”
