There wasn’t a man in sight as the ladies welcomed in the new day

VIEWERS tuning in to BBC Breakfast and Good Morning Britain took to Twitter to praise both channels for their all-female presenting line-up.

The BBC had Stephanie McGovern and Naga Munchetty on Breakfast, while Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh and Charlotte Hawkins were holding the fort on ITV’s GMB.

Not everyone was pleased with what they saw when they switched on their boxes this morning as one man wrote, “ when are we going to have 2 male presenters, sick of 2 female presenters yet a gain, # sexiest # unfair

I ask again, why is it that you regularly have 2 female presenters but never 2 male? Sexism works both ways.”
