Perrie Edwards gives birth to first child with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
PERRIE Edwards has given birth to her first child with her footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The 28-year-old shared the happy news today alongside a series of adorable black and white snaps, showing their child’s tiny feet and hands.
The Little Mix star wrote: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21 ♥️”
Her footballer boyfriend added his own pictures and shared: “Welcome to the world little one 😍❤️ 21/08/21.”
The couple were inundated with messages of congratulations from their fans and celebrity pals.
Perrie’s bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who is also due to give birth soon, commented on her snap: “I am so proud of you and I love you so much 🥺 what an angel ❤️❤️😍😍.”
Lauren Pope told her: “The most special time, huge congratulations.”

Fans were alerted to the fact she was in labour on Saturday, when midfielder Alex , 28, didn’t play for Liverpool, citing “personal reasons”.
Just days ago, the singer shared a series of pictures revealing her bare bump, which she captioned:”Baby Ox… soon… ♥️”
Pregnancy news
Perrie stunned Little Mix fans when she revealed she was pregnant in May.
She announced the happy news on Instagram with a close-up picture of her baby bump.
She wrote: “So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate
“Me + Him = You 🌎♥️ We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!”
Alex joked he was in need of parenting advice, writing: “Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies? 😅 so grateful and excited to become a dad ❤️ bring on the sleepless nights 🤪.”
The news came just days after Perrie’s bandmate Leigh-Anne confirmed she and footballer boyfriend Andre Gray are expecting.
True love
Alex and Perrie went public with their relationship in 2017.
In an interview published in June 2019, Perrie said he was her perfect partner.
She said: “I’m a little creep sometimes, I’m a little weirdo. And he loves me for that, and that’s why I’m like, ‘Woohoo!’ You know? I don’t have to put on a front and be this perfect girlfriend.
“He’s like, perfection. He’s not too much, he’s not too clingy, but he’s not too cool for school.
“He’s got a perfect balance, he’s super supportive of everything I do, which is so nice.”
She added: “He just wants the best for me, as do I him.
“So it’s just a lovely balanced healthy relationship, and I love it. It’s a breath of fresh air.”
