EastEnders fans fall in love with Dot and Patrick’s dancing scene

EASTENDERS fans fell in love tonight - with Dot Cotton and Patrick 's extremely cute dancing scene.

It starts as Dot wanders into Patrick's lounge, saying that she'd managed to change her shift to this afternoon.

Patrick asks what she's doing, but Dot tells him that Kim suggested they do extra sessions of dancing between classes: "Cos we've only got three weeks until the extravaganza".

He tries to divert her attention: "How about a cup of tea?"

Dot pulls her hand and holds onto his like they're about to do an arm wrestle and demands: "Now, swing me around."

The pair go on to do an odd jig, pulling each other around as they swivelled their hips.

And EastEnders fans were full of adoration for the pair.

One viewer tweeted: "#Dot and Patrick salsa dancing killed me #EastEnders".

A Twitter user also wrote: "Patrick and Dot dancing the salsa is the best thing ever #EastEnders

Another commented: "Dot and Patrick dancing is the best thing I've seen all day #EastEnders"

Another suggested that they bring a bit of alcohol and, ahem, extra stuff into the mix: "Suggestion: Dot and Patrick have a dance session after a bottle or two of proper rum and a few spliffs. Epic viewing that'd be! #EastEnders."

And others thought that "Dotrick" or "Patot" should start to be a thing.

While another thought they should be the next contestants announced on the Strictly line-up.
