Reality star Peter Andre snaps up Tom Cruise’s £5million West Sussex country pad
Mysterious Girl singer bought the six-bedroom house once owned by Mission Impossible star Cruise
PETER Andre has managed to snap up a £5million luxury mansion once owned by Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise.
The 43-year-old reality star’s family moved in to six-bedroom Rede Place this week.
A-lister Tom bought it for around £3million in 2006 to be close to the Church of Scientology’s UK HQ, Saint Hill Manor.
The four-storey, four-bedroom mansion was built on the site of an old Victorian home in 2003.
It sits in 14.2 acres in the exclusive Dormans Park estate in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
A guest house called the Pavilion nestles outside, with two more bedrooms for guests.
The property boasts a tennis court, outdoor pool, hot tub, billiards room, dance studio, gym and cinema.
Mysterious Girl singer Peter is thought to have paid £4.95million.
He previously lived at Dormans Park in a six bedroom, three-storey £1.7million home, which he once shared with ex Katie Price. But he sold it last year.
The star, whose last album, Come Fly With Me, charted at number 5 last year, does not seem to be short of cash.
Presenting 60 Minute Makeover brings in income, as does his luxury rental property in Cyprus.
He netted half a million pounds last year for exclusive rights to the pictures from his wedding to Emily MacDonagh, 26.
Being the face of Iceland is thought to have made him around £250,000, and he has appeared on Loose Women and Strictly.
Katie reportedly paid him around £6million in their divorce in 2009. He also won undisclosed libel damages in 2011 after she claimed he was unfaithful to her.
Emily, pregnant with their second child, was spotted overseeing the big move looking tired.
Peter had jetted off to Orlando, Florida, with Princess and Junior, his children with Katie.
Emily, mum to the couple’s daughter Amelia, two, stayed behind due to Zika virus fears.
