AMBER Heard arrived in LA, amidst her bitter divorce to actor Johnny Depp, showing off painful bruises.
It’s unknown how the actress obtained the red marks which were clearly visible for all to see on her right arm.
The 30-year-old looked happy even though she is involved in a battle with the Pirates of Caribbean actor for a hefty settlement, now their marriage is over.
The French actress and model has been named as a witness in legal papers filed as part of Amber’s domestic violence case against the actor, and she is expected to come out in support of her embattled former partner.
Amber is pursuing a permanent restraining order against the Hollywood actor amid allegations he abused her during their 15-month marriage.
However, Johnny, 53, is fighting back, and he has listed his partner of 14 years, French actress and singer Vanessa, 43, among the witnesses.
She will reportedly be backing up her former partner’s claims that he did not abuse Amber during the doomed relationship
Court papers issued as part of the case state that Vanessa is expected to testify for around 15 minutes at a court hearing in Los Angeles next week.
Amber is also among the witnesses listed in the paperwork who are expected to take to the stand and is facing four hours of questioning.
The blonde beauty previously won a temporary restraining order to keep Johnny away from her following their split in May.
After the marriage broke down, Amber later went public with sensational allegations against the
Hollywood superstar, accusing him of beating her in drug-fuelled rages.
They have since been locked in a bitter legal battle as they fight over the Edward Scissorhands star’s estimated £310 million movie fortune.
The former couple failed to sign a pre-nuptial agreement prior to their wedding last year in what could be a costly mistake for Johnny.
Reports suggest Amber could walk away with a hefty settlement at the end of the fierce divorce battle.
The drama of the legal wrangling reached new heights this week when Amber was 90 minutes late for a deposition in the case.
Paperwork filed by Johnny’s lawyer Laura Wasser, obtained by People.com, suggests Amber was screaming and crying and refused to step foot in the deposition room.
The documents stated: “Amber [was] hysterically crying and pacing in her separate conference room, or screaming and yelling at times and laughing at others…
“She appeared manic and irrational [and witnesses] observed Amber’s counsel trying to reason with her throughout the day.”
