‘I want to go home!’ Watch Chris Maloney scream and cry in pain as he gets his face waxed while on holiday
The X Factor contestant put himself through agony while his friend filmed the whole thing
HAVING spent £60,000 on cosmetic surgery, Chris Maloney is no stranger to beauty treatments – or the pain that comes with it.
But you had to feel for the former X Factor contestant who decided to treat himself to some local traditional beauty treatments at a men’s salon in Turkey.
As any woman knows, waxing is the most effective, if not the most painful, way of removing unwanted hair.
So in order to tidy up all stray hairs on his face that cannot be dealt with by shaving alone, Chris decided to have half his face waxed, which left him screaming in discomfort.
The singer was on holiday on Greece when he and a friend took a boat trip to Turkey for the day.
And The Sun Online can not only exclusively reveal the pain the poor chap went through, but we have video footage to prove it.
The 38-year-old from Liverpool is seen sitting in a barber’s chair with what looks like two cotton buds up his nose and wax strips covering his face from his cheekbones to his forehead.
He looks at the camera and says, “I want to go home!” but his friend who is filming can’t stop laughing and says, “You’re not getting out!”
As Chris starts to scream when the barber starts to peel off the wax strip, his friend says, “Just do it in one! Don’t be a p****!”
The barber then starts to peel again but stops when Chris screams in pain, but then shouts, “just do it! For f**** sake!”
He then shoves the towel into his mouth to bite down from the pain as the barber attempts to peel again.
He then goes for it an rips it all off as his friend doubles over in hysterics as Chris, with tears streaming down his face, turns to the camera in pain.
He then has to rip out the cotton buds which are stuck up his nose, possibly there to get rid of any nasal hair.
In the meantime, a group of people had gathered outside the shop and a source told us: “You could hear Chris screaming all down the road.
“A group of people assembled outside the barbers wondering what all the screaming was about. But when Chris emerged out of the barbers there wasn't a hair in sight on his face!!”
Chris, who appeared on the ninth series of X Factor, underwent £60,000 worth of cosmetic surgery last year after suffering horrendous bullying by Twitter trolls over his appearance.
He told This Morning that he struggled to face his own reflection and so felt his only option was to go under the knife.
He had three hair transplants, an eye lift, a nose job and had his teeth done and said: “I feel so much better now. It has made me more confident and now I'm looking forward to the future.”
