Fans go wild over hunky Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis as he shows off magical makeover

HUNKY Matthew Lewis sent This Morning viewers into a frenzy today as he showed just how much he has changed since his days as geeky Neville Longbottom.

Matthew has undergone a magical makeover since appearing in the wizard movies, and fans were swooning over his chiselled good looks during his interview on the show.

The actor joined hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes to discuss his latest acting projects, including stints in police drama Happy Valley and creepy drama Ripper Street.

However, fans were more interested in Matthew's appearance, with many flocking to Twitter to brand him a "hottie".

One even expressed her surprise that she is attracted to the formerly geeky Neville Longbottom.

A particularly enamoured female fan tweeted: "Jeez proper fancy Neville Longbottom , aka Matthew Lewis, now he's older and lovely lookin..."

Another viewers wasn't even sure it was the same actor, writing: "@itvthismorning @Mattdavelewis @RuthieeL @EamonnHolmes is that Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter?"

One called him a "hottie" and another wrote: "I always forget how fit Matthew Lewis is."

There was also an admiring tweet from the official This Morning account, which stated: "There's a lot of [love] out there for @Mattdavelewis today!"

Matthew, 27, spent a decade playing the dumpy and hapless Neville in the wizard blockbusters, and radically overhauled his appearance after walking away from the franchise.

He sorted out his teeth, hit the gym and lost weight, and is now sporting a muscular physique which is a world away from his gawky teenage years.

Last year, he caused a stir when he showed off his hunky new looked in a steamy shoot for Attitude magazine.

Matthew posed in his pants to debut his new look body, complete with rock hard abs.

He has won a legion of new fans since his transformation and regularly shares sexy pictures with his adoring followers.
