Piers Morgan cuddles Kate Garraway as they reunite for first time since his GMB exit at The Sun’s Who Cares Wins awards

PIERS Morgan has finally been able to hug his close pal Kate Garraway following his dramatic exit from Good Morning Britain.

The former co-stars reunited at The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards and they were all smiles as they posed for a photograph together.

Looking dapper, Piers wore a sharp suit and tie to our glitzy event at the Roundhouse in Camden, while Kate was radiant in a beautiful black dress.

Posting a picture of their reunion on Instagram, Piers told his followers: "Reunited! First time we've seen each other since I left @gmb #whocareswins."

Fans were quick to react to the sweet photo, with one saying: "If anyone deserves a hug, it's Kate."

Another said: "Ahhh I love this!" And a third chimed in: "Such a great pic of you both."

PIERS' VICTORY

In March, Piers dramatically stormed off the set of Good Morning Britain after he was slated by co-star Alex Beresford for his comments towards Meghan Markle.

Piers refused to apologise for his remarks and instead chose to quit the show.

Earlier this month, Ofcom confirmed Piers was entitled to give his opinions during the heated debate.

In a huge win for freedom of speech, the television watchdog stated that restricting Piers' strong views would be an "unwarranted and chilling restriction on freedom of expression".

Piers and Kate were in great company at the Who Cares Wins awards on Tuesday evening.

David Beckham fist-bumped Prime Minister Boris Johnson as he arrived with his mum Sandra, before also rubbing shoulders with Prince William.

The huge names attended our star-studded bash to honour our NHS heroes.

The Sun's very own columnists Dr Zoe Williams and Bowel Babe Deborah James also helped celebrate our amazing doctors, nurses, midwives, surgeons, volunteers, researchers and charity workers at the ceremony, which was hosted by Davina McCall.
