Inside Danniella Westbrook’s close relationship with son and daughter – and why she split from their dads
DANNIELLA Westbrook is a proud mum to her two kids Jodie and Kai, regularly gushing about them on her social media pages.
The EastEnders legend, 47, posted a throwback of the three of them having a right laugh in Spain on Instagram, calling them "my world".
While days before she celebrated Jodie's two-year relationship with her boyfriend Ayrton Simmons - a world champion racing driver.
She wished them well on the milestone, posting a love heart emoji beside it and calling the pair prince and princess.
Feeling nostalgic, she shared another pic of Jodie and Kai, 24, together as kids before posting one of her son with Danny Dyer on the EastEnders set.
Last week Jodie turned 20 and celebrated with a lavish home party that included a Prosecco wall and huge balloon display.
Danniella wrote: "Today’s all about you my dolly. I love you so much and I’m so proud of you. Enjoy today and the world is yours baby . I love you more than words can ever say . Love Mum xxxxx."
Their lives haven't been all plain sailing though. Danniella's well-publicised addiction troubles caused problems in the family home growing up, and her relationships with the kids' respective dads, Robert Fernandez and Kevin Jenkins, didn't last.
Danniella accused Kevin of constantly cheating on her during their 19 years together, while he blamed her drug use for the split.
Five years after they went their separate ways in 2014, Danniella begged Kevin for a divorce on his birthday.
Kai told us in 2016 that he would often fear finding his mum dead and as a four-year-old witnessed her overdosing on cocaine.

But having come through the hard times, the doting mum is closer than ever to her kids.
She repaired her relationship with Jody after going three years without seeing her due to battling womb cancer and dealing with an online stalker.
In 2019 she said: "Jody is with her dad and that's just a whole different issue because of different things but the stalker did play a huge part in that for her own safety.
"I haven't spoken to Jody for three years. She's 17, she's gorgeous. Look, it's very difficult, especially since I've been ill. Jody is doing her life and she's doing very well, she's done brilliantly at school and now she's in college and she's doing great, and her dad is a great dad and he's doing what's best for her, right now."
