Ellie Goulding shines with the official single Still Falling For You for the upcoming blockbuster Bridget Jones’s Baby
Singer's new hit is yet another triumph after her 2015 hit Love Me Like You Do for Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack
WHEN ELLIE GOULDING released Love Me Like You Do — my song of 2015 — I thought it would be impossible for her to top it.
But I can reveal she has signed up to sing the official single for the new Bridget Jones movie — and proved me completely wrong in the process.
Ellie will release her new song, Still Falling For You, on Friday, which is part of the soundtrack for next month’s British blockbuster Bridget Jones’ Baby.
She has already shot the music video for the track which features clips of RENEE ZELWEGGER’s famous character.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the song yesterday and can confirm it is yet another triumph from the star.
As with Love Me Like You Do — also the soundtrack for a huge movie, Fifty Shades of Grey — it is an incredible pop smash which gets better with every listen.
And I’m not the only fan of Ellie’s work.At Lollapalooza festival in Chicago earlier this month MAHALIA OBAMA, the daughter of US president BARACK, was seen rocking out at the side of stage.
A source said:“Mahalia was mouthing along to every word at Ellie’s headline set.
“She had such a large security entourage that Ellie had to actually wait for the cavalcade to depart before she could.”

Ellie is not the first British pop superstar to take part in the upcoming Bridget Jones flick.
I revealed last year how ED SHEERAN has bagged himself a cameo in the movie.
Producers shot footage of his gig at Dublin’s Croke Park last year as well as scenes of him tumbling down a hill at a music festival inside an inflatable Zorb ball.
He said of his role: “Whether it ends up being a speaking part or just my gig there’s definitely me in there.”
