FRANKIE Essex looked fitter than ever as she stepped out in Essex Friday night in a white crop top that showcased her toned tummy.

The grinning Towie star, 28, paired the ruffled top with pair of black bell-bottom trousers, accessorised with simple jewellery and a black shoulder bag.

The reality babe revealed last month she’d lost two stone after she piled on the pounds during a period of depression.

Frankie, the older sister of Towie’s Joey Essex, confessed her split from builder John Lyons last year left her desolate, and she would binge on alcohol and comfort food to numb the pain.

She told Now magazine: “I’d go drinking, then fell sorry for myself and eat, and I kept eating.”

She said she felt so low she wouldn’t leave the house for days, and even contemplated suicide.

Her unhealthy lifestyle led to her piling on the pounds, and in January she was pictured in Lanzarote with what she calls her “saggy belly” on display.

However the star, who tragically lost her mother to suicide when she was 13, sought medical help and began taking antidepressants.

She embarked on a healthy diet and exercise regimen, and says she lost two stone in just eight weeks.

By July she was showing off a trim new figure on holiday in Ibiza, and now she appears to have slimmed down even more.

Weeks later she looked fit and toned on a girls’ night out in Liverpool, and recently she flaunted her slender legs as she stepped out in a strappy white mini-dress.

Frankie has said she feels like a “new woman”, telling The Mirror: “Once I got into a regular routine, I could really feel my life turning around.

“I now feel so much more confident and healthier.”
